Our Mission
Quilters 2 is dedicated to preserving the art of quilting through education, community, and service. We foster a warm environment where Voyager RV Resort residents can master new skills and craft beautiful quilts that wrap our local Tucson residents in our love. And we have fun.
Preserving Our Heritage, Stitch by Stitch
In January of 1990, three women met in a fifth wheel to discuss starting a quilt group at The Voyager RV Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Their purpose was to share ideas and learn from each other. Within a month the group had outgrown everyone’s living space. By the year 2000, Quilters2 had become the second largest activity at Voyager. In 2006, Handi Quilter, Inc. donated our first longarm quilting machine to aid in finishing larger quilt sizes. Today, Quilters2 donates more than 150 quilts each year to local charities.
